In 2015, Compass Academy added a Beginner/Intermediate DSLR Photography class to the schedule.  Students began to learn about aperture, shutter speed, ISO, composition, light, exposure, and the art of photography.

Throughout this course, students produce their own photography and this website is a venue for sharing their work.   We anticipate a culminating gallery showing of the best photos taken during the course in the future.   

 

Students who are interested in this photography course should have regular access to a DSLR camera.  This camera uses a digital sensor in place of film and has the ability to switch lenses.
